Comprising of a staggering 16 million pavers Sydney Olympic Park required extreme precision, excellent time management and an unfaltering determination to see the project complete in time for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. It quickly became a “all hands-on deck” project averaging 1,000m2 per day, 7 days a week. Sydney Olympic Park became one of Sam Harbs’ favourite projects he was overjoyed to have been awarded the opportunity to showcase his team’s skills on such a large format.

Pitt Street, Sydney

Sam the Paving Man was proudly contracted by Westfield Design & Construct to complete major upgrade of renowned Pitt Street, Sydney in 200X. Our team was proudly working on this iconic project for over 12 months and completed a scope of civil, paving and soft landscaping works. The job involved our stone masons to install based on the specific designs from the City of Sydney Council.

The team worked tirelessly to ensure minimal disruption to existing shop owners and pedestrian in the hopes of making the construction as “hassle free” as possible for all stakeholders effected.

Chifley Square

Located on Level 25, with commanding views over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House this garden required a classic, formal design to compliment the interiors of the apartment.

Buxus hedging and Topiary cones add a formal element whilst Iris and Lavender create a whimsical effect. Timber seating frames the garden providing a place to sit and enjoy the garden and harbour views.

1 Bligh Street, Sydney

No. 1 Blight Street Sydney is a stunning state-of-the-art building representing the triumph of modern architecture and green technology. The building has a 6 Green Star design rating, which holds the highest rating of any commercial high rise building in Sydney.

Sam the Paving Man contractual works involved civil works, supply and installation of Adelaide Black Australian Granite to the City of Sydney standards, smart pole footings and electrical reticulation works as well as traffic & pedestrian management.

Sam the Paving Man proudly completed the feature external staircase leading into the building. Our team supplied and installed over 1500 units of 1 tonne monolithic stone stair blocks, with stainless steel tactiles and integrated lighting.
